I became a mom and suddenly I got it.
I have loved photography for years, but the moment I had kids of my own, something shifted. I understood on a completely different level why these photos matter.
The chaos, the tenderness, the small hands and loud laughs and quiet moments you desperately want to bottle up. My camera roll is basically just my boys at this point and I am not sorry about it! These little moments are actually big ones and they matter.
On top of having littles of own who are truly my heart outside of my body, I’m also deeply inspired by the sudden loss of my dad in 2024. He was one of my favourite people and the shock of losing him so unexpectedly brought the importance of preserving real memories to light in the most clear way. The most valuable photos of him are the genuine moments and real smiles as they bring me back to his true personality.
That is exactly why I do this work. Because I understand how fast life moves and I want to help you slow down long enough to feel it, be part of it, and walk away with a tangible keepsake!
At the end of our lives, what really matters is the people who walked our journey with us and all of our memories together with those people. How incredible is it that I get to document that for you!
HOW I WORK
Sessions that feel like a fun family day.
I am a connection-focused photographer which means I am not going to ask you to stand in a line and look at my camera. That's not what real life looks like, and it is not how your photos should look either!
For family sessions
I follow your kids' lead. We play, we goof off, and I use prompts that get you actually interacting with each other instead of performing for a lens. The laughter you'll see in your photos? It'll be real.
For newborn and maternity sessions
I work intentionally and quietly. There is no rush. You have just stepped into one of the most tender seasons of your life and I want to honour that at a pace that feels good for you.
For weddings
I am the person sneaking around the edges of your day capturing the moments you will not even remember happening. The looks, the tears, the dance floor chaos. All of it.
THE FULL EXPERIENCE
This is not a shoot-and-send situation.
I am a full-service photographer. That means I am with you from the first conversation to the moment your finished artwork arrives at your door.
Before your session,
we’ll schedule an online design meeting where I’ll gather details about your vision and tie it all together so that we know we’re creating your dream images. We’ll discuss ideal locations and nail down outfits that you and your family will look and feel great in!

After your session,
we meet for an online reveal appointment where you see your gallery for the first time together with me. BONUS: You can totally wear pajamas while viewing your images - in fact, I encourage it! We walk through your images, talk about your space, and figure out exactly how to bring your photos to life in your home.

Wall art above your couch,
an album on your coffee table, a framed print in the nursery. These are not an afterthought, they’re the whole idea.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
When I am not shooting, I am moming it up
I am based in Winnipeg, Manitoba and I have been officially in business since 2020, although photography has been my passion since 2017. I live with my very supportive husband, two little boys who keep me completely on my toes, and our cat, Bell (our boys also keep her on her toes).
A few things that you should know about me:
I sing at the top of my lungs in my car but act completely normal the second someone pulls up beside me. They definitely know but I tell myself they don’t.
Matcha latte in hand is my preferred state of being.
Dance was my first love and yoga is my reset. I connect with myself through movement and probably always will.
I am somehow both the most laid-back person in the room AND extremely detail-oriented and punctual. It is a confusing way to live but it works for my clients!
Tunes from the 70s and 80s hit different. Guns N' Roses forever.
I once had a full standoff with a squirrel in a back alley. Details available upon request.
The best photos are never the posed ones.
When you flip through your album or walk past the print in your hallway, I want you to remember a moment. A real one. The way your toddler laughed when you were not expecting it. The way your family looked at each other.
That is what I am chasing every single session. Not perfect. Real.
